The Gothenburg Centre for Person-centred Care

GPCC is a national interdisciplinary research center which was established in 2010 with the support of the Swedish Government’s strategic investment in research (SFO). At GPCC more than 100 national and international researchers gather from various fields to collaborate in some thirty different research projects and groups.


Center for Health and Performance

The Center for Health and Performance is working to become an internationally recognized research centre in the field of health promotion and sport performance. Through a multidisciplinary approach and in close collaboration with national and international stakeholders from both the academia, the public health sector and the sport community our purpose is to strengthen the areas of knowledge in physical activity, sports, nutrition, performance development and health promotion.

The Centre is under the lead of Directors Professor Mats Börjesson & Associate Professor Daniel Arvidsson.
